Job Description
Job Purpose:
Under the direction of Recruitment & placement manager provide professional support for the successful implementation of the company strategy and implementation of diversity and talent initiatives across the group and maintain company policies, and ensure that processes are fair and complaint with company policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ø Develop and execute recruiting plans.
Ø Entry level to executive placements through the use and implementation of creative research/sourcing strategies.
Ø Coordination with panel and understanding their requirements and defining job positions.
Ø Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives
Ø Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media and use other possible way of attracting potential candidates
Ø Handling the tasks of head hunting, identifying and approaching suitable candidates for the right profile.
Ø Shortlisting the resumes based on desired skills and experience.
Ø Getting the right profiles matching the requirements in the given time.
Ø Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
Ø Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
Ø Utilize the Internet for recruitment.
ü Post positions to appropriate Internet sources.
ü Improve the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting.
ü Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment.
ü Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
Ø Developing database/pipelining of potential candidate for future opportunities.
Ø Conducting telephone and Personal interviews in coordination with user department.
Ø Handling departments demand and ensures that their needs are fulfilled.
Ø Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
Ø Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
Ø Provide analytical and well documented reports to the top management
Ø Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Ø Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work” or employer of chose
Ø Collect references and checks the suitability of the applicant.
Ø Negotiates pay and salary structure as well as finalize arrangements between candidates and user department.
Ø Facilitate onboarding new employees in collaboration with training and development department in order to become fully integrated with overall company working style and culture
Ø Perform other duties as may be assigned
Job Requirements
Qualification:
BA degree in Human Resource Management, Management, and Business Management.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ proven working experience
Language Skills:
Very good command of English and Amharic
Other Skills:
Ø Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc)
Ø Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc)
Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ø Written and spoken communication skills
Ø Problem-solving
Ø Negotiation skills
Ø Organizational and planning skills
