Job Description
Job Summary
The purposes of this job is to perform technical and professional accounting work in the preparation and maintenance of share related transaction; to administers and controls shareholders records; to follow-up payment of outstanding share subscriptions and share transfer; to assist in ensuring shareholders accounts are on balance with the Bank record and ensure appropriate share certificates are issued.
Job Requirement
Educational Qualification Required:
- BA in Accounting & Finance, Banking and Finance, Management or in related Business fields.
Minimum Work Experience
- 4 years of relevant experience of which 2 years as an Officer.
Additional Skills:
- Skills on share management, Account closing, Budget Preparations, Taxing system of the country, banking payment system, Software’s like Oracle and Flex Cube;
- Skill on prioritizing tasks and work under pressure;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Considerable knowledge of the Bank’s financial policies and procedures;
- Ability to coordinate and supervise the work of subordinates;
- Ability to understand coding structure of the bank and closing of accounts etc.
