JOB Summary

The jobholder is responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation and performance tuning and recovery procedures Servers and Storages of the Bank. Serves as a technical expert in the area of storage and server administration for complex operating systems. Monitoring and administration of POWER System, storage, and physical and virtual server(LPARs) used by the bank. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and storage. Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership and management in order to provide a high level of service to the customers of the Bank.Provides technical consulting internally to teammates and externally to a variety of IT teams. Follow internal procedures for change management, incident management, and escalation. Training or certification on operating system like Unix, AIX,Linux, SAN management and backup technologiesisan added advantage.

Job Requirement

• Bsc Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields with a minimum offour (4) years in System/Server Administration or related areas.This job may require shift basis engagement including weekends and holidays.
