JOB Summary
Responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems and the general upkeep of each system. In addition, collaboration with business lines to develop and maintain tools, processes, and reliable data that help the Bank make more effective business decisions. Participates the system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Involves in development of systems guidelines, procedures and standards to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and security of systems as well as evaluates system capacity and plans for expansion. The principal System Administrator is also responsible for overseeing daily operations and administration of the IT server Infrastructure.
Job Requirement
- BSc Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology/Systems or related disciplines with a minimum of seven(7) years in System administration or related field out of which 3years in supervisory position;
Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux/UNIX, VMware/HyperV, Active Directory and Cyber Security,
- Preferred Certifications: MSCA/MSCE certifications and/or Linux/AIX Certifications or IBM certifications or Storage Certifications, CCNA/CCNP, Vmware, etc
