Job Summary

 Rorank Business S.C. are looking to hire a highly ambitious IT Officer for immediate start. The candidate will have excellent communications skills and work together with the ICT Manager to fulfil the following role:

SAGE 300 ERP

• To assist with installation of ERP on client machines.
• Troubleshoot server issues (SQL, OS, SAGE Server, Remote access)
• Troubleshoot connectivity between ChaCha and Addis.
• To take part in in depth training so as to assist users in Rorank with operability of software.
• Ideally the IT Manager will gain extensive knowledge of SAGE 300 from both a technical and operational viewpoint.

1. Month-end/Year-end cut-off procedures
2. Master file maintenance (including sales pricing) & user permissions
3. Budget uploads, report writing (Crystal reports), etc.

To assist the ICT staff with:

• IT Security
• Upkeep of network infrastructure:
• Server administration, including but not limited to:
• Email – Office 365.
• Desktop Support
• Consulting new technology and solution to assist the business
• Website: Hosting, including liaising with web designers
• Administering HR Information System
• You Weekly timesheet report to be submitted to CFO. Duties include Addis and Cha Cha sites.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Education:          Min: Diploma in IT or computing science

                             Ideal: BSc in Computer science, IT or related field

Legal:                    Min: National ID

Training:              Min: SAGE Training

Ideal: HR Information Systems

Experience:       Min: College graduate preferably with additional trainings on ERP

Ideal: 2 years as in a similar position with experience in IT System Support
