Job Summary
Customer Service Agent/Guest Service Agent, makes sure the guest have exceptional experience from check-in through check-out process and contributes to the first impressions of our Guests, by being the face of the hotel.
Here are tasks expected to be handled with the highest standards:
Welcome & check in for guests, taking in to consideration all established standard (choice of suitable rooms, securing complete guest profile, payment & facilitate on luggage handling...
Check out of departing guests in accordance with the established standards (check on accuracy of bill, get approval from the guests before proceeding to transaction, verify on guest satisfaction...etc)
Know the standard & put into practice in daily work, thus actively pursuing the hotel objectives.
Guarantee the tidiness & cleanliness of the reception area
Obtain all the relevant information from the previous shift, including the volume of business, special guests, tasks to be clarified & to be completed & special events.-Take regular part in meetings & shift handovers
Cooperate with team members of all departments, in particular housekeeping, accounting & reservation
Have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area, and are continuously trained to learn and understand policies and practices
Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments
Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management system
Assist with other departments, as necessary
Advanced Computer skill of Internet, Word and Excel
Job Requirements
BA Degree in Marketing, Hotel Management or other related field with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Customer Service, in hotel or related service providing firms
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Very High command of English language both spoken & written
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
Ability to listen and respond to demanding Guest needs
Female candidate encouraged
Knowledge of Additional languages like French, German & Arabic is an Asset
