Holt International Children’s Service is a global, faith-based humanitarian and non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children and families at-risk of socio-economic crises.
Established in 1956, with a mission…to seek a world where every child has a loving and secure home. Holt has been working on programs that empower and preserve families that are at risk of separation and in critical poverty, provide care and support to orphaned and vulnerable children; and by leading the global community in finding families for children who need them.
In Ethiopia, since 2008, Holt has reached thousands of orphaned, vulnerable and abandoned children and families at risk of separation and in socio-economic crises through implementing family strengthening, maternal child health and nutrition, education program and supporting institutional care and support through like-minded local partner organizations.
Job Summary
The primary roles of the Program Coordinator is to technically support local partner organizations on the implementation of Holt-funded maternal and child health and nutrition program, identifies gaps and leads capacity strengthening activities for health professionals, coordinates program designing, planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting against the approved operation plan.
