In pursuit to serve our valued local and international customer with exquisite coffee and pastry along with our exceptional customer service, JIH plan to open a number of retail coffee shops with Hadero brand.
To this end, we are looking for highly motivated and energetic personnel to join our team in the following position.
Post Title : Architect
Place of work: Addis Ababa
Salary : Based on Company scale
Required : One
Term of employment: Indefinite period (Permanent)
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all technical activities relating to architectural and engineering projects, reviewing drafts and computer models, and approving design changes.
- Communicate with managers, production staff, marketing personnel, and clients to discuss and organize projects from original conceptual design through construction.
- Present design proposals and bids to contactor according to prescribed deadlines, and explain relevant details, reports, expense line items, and goals in clear and persuasive language.
- Provide consultations and participate negotiations with potential contractor during the project development, bidding and execution phases.
- Remain up-to-date with current and trending elements of design, construction, and technology by reading industry publications, manuals, and textbooks and attending professional development courses and events as time permits.
- Innovate and develop new standards, policies, and procedures for architectural design and engineering work as necessary to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Work on the interior design of Hadero coffee shops taking in to consideration different inspiration.
- Work on graphic design software to produce different publication related with coffee shops.
Job Requirements
Qualification Requirement
Education: BSc degree in Architecture
Experience: Preferable 1 year experience
Additional requirements:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills along with presentation techniques
- Strict adherence to deadlines
- Working knowledge on different graphics software.
- The ability to work on team
