Job Purpose

Under the supervision of deputy plant manager, the production manager is responsible to plan, organize, coordinate and control the overall production activities of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and coordinate the general production activities.
• Formulate effective and economical methods of production.
• Assist the deputy plant manager concerning issues related to production as a production manager.
• Plan raw material and other inputs required for the production of all products and make sure that they are delivered on time.
• Prepare the production department programs and budgets, and implement upon approval.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing operating standards
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are met in accordance with country’s & company’s health and safety procedures.
• Review subordinate’s performance regularly and support them to achieve company’s goals.
• Perform related activities as required.

Education & Experience

• BSc Degree in Applied Chemistry, Chemistry, Applied Biology, Biology, Food Science Technology, Industrial Chemistry and/or related field of studies.
• 6 years of experience in production process preferably in Food and/or Beverage Industry out of which 2 years in a managerial position
