JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Intervention Manager for Access to Finance will be responsible to design and deliver financial sector interventions in collaboration with partnering financial institutions. The main objective of the Access to Finance Component is to enhance the competitiveness of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by enhancing their access to financial resources. This is a mid-level leadership position. S/he is responsible for ensuring implementation of the Access to Finance interventions in collaboration with partnering banks, microfinance institutions and leasing companies. The position involves managing strategies & interventions as well as coordinating amongst intervention managers and external partners.

Qualifications/Skills:
Education:
- Minimum Master’s degree; MBA, Finance (or other related field) is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience out of which at least 5 should be directly working in the Finance Sector, business-related or private sector development setting.
- Understanding of the financial sector in Ethiopia. This could include understanding of financial programmes which aim to increase financial access, understanding of the investment, leasing and equity markets.
- Entrepreneurial or business-risk taking experience is highly desired
- Strong command of English and Amharic languages
- Competency in MS Office
