Job Summary
Human Resources Coordinator is responsible to coordinate and implement department activities and projects, as assigned. Provides clerical and office support and assistance to department management.
Specifically will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Provide support in the recruitment of staff
- Prepare HR Plans, reports and work schedules
- Manage health issues and medical referrals
- Ensure that team members are informed and updated on key organizational issues
- Keep contact with all departments to monitor changing manning needs on grounds of sick leaves, absenteeism, termination, etc.
- Enhance team members’ morale and belongingness by introducing and implementing motivating programs
- Ensure absence monitoring is in line with company guidelines
- Maintain online personnel system, payroll system, and monthly reporting
- Attend all mandatory meetings
- Follow and know emergency procedures as needed
- Maintain a good working relationship with other department, employees, and guess
Job Requirements
- BA Degree in Human Resource Management, Management or related field of study
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources Coordinator or equivalent role
- Positive attitude
- Knowledge of human resources practices and procedures as well as knowledge of Ethiopian labor law and regulations pertaining to human resources matters.
- Good communication and people skills
- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
- Excellent grooming standards
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work on their own or in teams
