Position: Director, Information Technology Department

Basic Functions:
• The Director IT Department has specific role to provide vision and leadership for planning and implementing an information technology strategy that meets the Bank’s business needs and delivers a good return on investment. The incumbent simultaneously manages the technology backbone of the Bank’s business and plans for future growth while constantly adjusting to warp speed changes in technology. He/ She must spearhead the direction and implementation of IT throughout the Bank, acting, in essence, as change management leader. Responsible for overseeing management and smooth running of core applications, digital channel banking services, any enterprise solution, Data and Disaster recovery centers of the Bank, IT infrastructure of technical operations, tracking the technology itself as well as the IT team in order to achieve goals, meet quotas, eliminate security risks, increase user satisfaction, and maintaining operations and systems.

- Place of Work: Addis Ababa
