Job Description

  • Identifies the type and nature of raw materials, spare parts, Finished Goods and supplies which could be received by the Factory store.
  • Organizes and makes necessary arrangements of the store in order to manage, raw materials goods and services as to their nature.
  • Prepares required sheets to receive, maintain, and dispatch goods and supplies.
  • Gives necessary awareness especially with regard to the nature of the factory to the store keeper on how to manage, and dispatch, raw materials, spare parts, goods and services.
  • Ensures that goods and supplies are issued based on their shelf life, adequate method (LIFO/ FIFO), and proper authorization.
  • Makes the identification of unused, expired and depreciated goods and proposes for disposals.
  • Ensures goods are recorded, coded and tagged on the designed recording books.
  • Ensues the items receives by the store keeper are as per the predetermined specification and quantity.
  • Authorizes on store requisitions when assigned.
  • Facilitates store auditing mouthy and yearly inventory and makes necessary corrections based on the recommendation given.
  • Monitor manager 3rd party loading offloading team
  • Close follow up of warehouse space for finished good& raw materials.
  • Follow trucks that are assigned to shuttle product from factory to warehouse.
  • sustain good story practice as per the standard in ISO=22000=2018
  • Own Leadership of every store activity.
  • Willing fuel to receive an additional task that is to be given from his immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • BA Degree in Procurement and Supplies Management, Materials Management, Accounting or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of materials management & inventory control principles. Excellent knowledge of reordering principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of stock control rules and regulations.
  • Ability to carry out physical count of stock items.
  • Ability to monitor stock movement.
  • Ability to reconcile stock cards.
  • Skill in implementing control procedures.
  • Skill in the use of computer and S/W related to the job.
