Job Description

The School counselor will be in charge of multiple responsibilities at The School of Saint Yared, a project of Hope for Children Organization Australia:

  • Planning, organizing and delivering the school counseling program.
  • Implementing the school guidance curriculum through the use of effective instructional skills and careful planning of structured group sessions for all students and parents.
  • Collaborating with SSY teachers and leadership teams.
  • Plan and execute regular home visits/assessments (program to all SSY students in and outside of school).
  • Compile a report on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and etc..

Job Requirements

  • BA in counseling psychology, School Psychology, applied psychology, psychiatry.
  • Proven Experience of working in a school setting or child-focused organizations.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be flexible.
  • Must be compassionate and patient.
  • Must have a working knowledge of English.
  • WHO IS READY TO START RIGHT AWAY.
