Job Description
The School counselor will be in charge of multiple responsibilities at The School of Saint Yared, a project of Hope for Children Organization Australia:
- Planning, organizing and delivering the school counseling program.
- Implementing the school guidance curriculum through the use of effective instructional skills and careful planning of structured group sessions for all students and parents.
- Collaborating with SSY teachers and leadership teams.
- Plan and execute regular home visits/assessments (program to all SSY students in and outside of school).
- Compile a report on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and etc..
Job Requirements
- BA in counseling psychology, School Psychology, applied psychology, psychiatry.
- Proven Experience of working in a school setting or child-focused organizations.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be flexible.
- Must be compassionate and patient.
- Must have a working knowledge of English.
