Job Summary: 

The incumbent in close coordination with ASE Program Offices, donor partners, relevant sector offices and members of the community implement, assist and facilitate livelihood activities in a farming, pastoral and agro-pastoral intervention areas of the organization, Assist and work as focal person of the Program Offices on Food Security, Value Chain Development and Climate Change adaptation activities. Write concept note and project proposal and compile quarterly and annual reports of the concerned program office based on the given format before the due date, identify any gaps of implementation and consult with the concerned staff, accomplish other activities as instructed by his/her immediate supervisor

Qualification:

o    MA/MSc or BSc/BA Degree in Agricultural Extension, Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, and related fields.

Experience:

o    6 years for MA/MSc holders and 8 years for BSc/BA holders; preferably working on Food Security, Value Chain Development and Climate Change adaptation; exposure in NGO is mandatory.

Personal Competency:

o    Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems, work in a team environment.

o    Ability to write concept note and project proposals, project monitoring and   

       evaluation and report writing skills.

o    Good oral and written communication skills in English.

o    Committed to work with rural poor and willing to work under pressure.

o    Computer literate in word processing excel and power point software packages.
