Job Description

The Director of Policy Advocacy & Research Team is responsible for policy plans, guides and controls the policy related activity of CCRDA dealing with advocacy, research, policy, publications and dissemination. The incumbent identifies issues requiring advocacy and sees to it that the necessary support is provided for the research and advocacy activities. The role involves identifying possible area of collaboration between CCRDA and other development partners in the area of advocacy, networking and other forms of partnership that would contribute the creation of more enabling environment to the membership. He/she plans, guides and follow-up CCRDA’s events and major meetings where joint events, dialogue forums, symposiums, panel discussion etc. are organized.

Job Requirement

Education: University graduate with Masters Degree in Economics, Political Science and International Relations (PSIR), Public Management & Policy, or other related field of study.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years relevant experience with 3-5 years as a researcher and policy advocacy activities.
