Job Description

Job Requirements:

Required Educational Qualification and Work Experience:Master’s Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other Business Related fields Or B.A Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other Business related fields with 15 years of banking operation experience of which four years in a Senior Management role.

 

Job Objective:To manage the entire Financial Management system, produce and oversee a financial and operational strategy and associated metrics. Develop and continuously monitor control systems designed to preserve assets and report accurate financial results so as to achieve the bank’s vision, mission and strategic objectives

 

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:·         Assists in defining CBE’s future direction and supporting strategic initiatives; monitors and directs the implementation of the strategic business plans; develops financial and tax strategies;

·         Manages capital request and budgeting processes; and develop performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction;

·         Participates in key decisions as a member of the Senior Management team;

·         Manages financial analysis and planning, financial accounting, treasury, and strategy management departments;

·         Oversees the CBE transaction processing systems and ensure compliance with directives, laws, and regulations.

·         Implements operational best practices and direct management incentive payout processing;

·         Oversees delivery of financial information, including personally reviewing and approving all consolidated financial statements and financial reports to the Board of Directors;

·         Mitigates key elements of the CBE risk profile, monitors all open legal issues involving the bank and/or legal issues affecting the industry;

·         Constructs and monitors reliable control systems; maintain appropriate insurance coverage (e.g. banker’s blanket, deposit insurance);

 

 

·         Ensures the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.

·         Ensures the records keeping meets the requirements of auditors, government agencies, and regulatory bodies;

·         Reports risk issues to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, maintains relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations;

·         Monitors cash balances and cash forecasts, arrange for debt and equity financing, and invest funds;

·           Performs other duties as assigned.
