Position:            Women Rights Project Officer

Reports to:        Local Programme Coordinator

Duty base:         Decha Woreda, Kafa Zone

Salary:               As per AAE salary scale

Duration:            Two years with possibility of extension based on performance and budget

Key responsibilities include:

The successful Project Officer is responsible for the efficient and effective implementation of the project /or specific programme activity .She/he is responsible to be engaged in community level project design/planning, appraisal , implementation , monitoring& evaluation of the Women Right Project in the District with emphasis given to the objective of ensuring social and economic empowerment of women in an integrated and holistic manner, ensure the organization and institutional capacity building of CBOs through preparation and monitoring ,providing regular  technical support and also play active  role in the overall programme  implementation in the area.

§  The successful candidate must possess a minimum of Bachler degree in social science, with minimum of four years proven experiences, 

§  Proven experiences Women Right Project specifically in participatory community development/community mobilization, behavior change, organization and empowerment and multi sectoral grassroots integrated development work.

§  Proven work experiences in organization women and girls in social groups, multi-purpose cooperatives, saving and credit, union and other income generation groups.

§  Technical training facilitation skill, knowledge management, and proven experience in writing quality report and documentation skill.

§  Proven experiences in project management participating in area of Women Rights Projects

§  Knowledge of the local language and First grade driving license in advantage
