Job Description
Specific duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Entering all entomological data collected from the field into the PMI VectorLink Ethiopia Project’s entomology databases.
- Performing regular data cleaning to ensure quality data for decision making.
- Filing all entomological data collected according to project filing protocols.
- Supporting the implementation of entomological field activities.
- Support proper and timely data recording and entry as well as provide feedback on data collections errors.
- Performing other project related duties assigned to him by his supervisor
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Entomology, Biology, Biological Sciences, Biostatistics or other health related field.
- Previous experience in data collection, entry, and management is an advantage.
- Experience with DHIS 2 is preferred.
- Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
- Proficiency in English
- Previous experience in IRS activities or Vector control activities or general experience as field biologist working with research projects in health or natural resource disciplines is an added advantage.
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
