Project HOPE is seeking Finance and Operations Director for a potential five year USAID-funded Eliminate Tuberculosis from Ethiopia (ETBE) project, to reduce tuberculosis (TB) incidence and mortality by addressing the critical gaps and challenges of the Ethiopian NTP. ETBE aims to improve the quality, access, utilization, and sustainability of TB services. This program will focus in implementing high impact/high yield interventions for improved TB programs.

JOB SUMMARY
The Finance and Operations Director (FOD) leads the operations division. S/he will be responsible for managing the ETBE Ethiopia office staff in delivering efficient and effective project implementation, overseeing day-to-day project operations, logistics, procurement, donor and partner relationship management as well as performance monitoring, analysis and reporting of the support team. The FOD supervises the operations unit and reports hierarchically to the CoP. Under the overall guidance and supervision of the CoP, and with the support of HQ, the Technical Director, and Regional Program Operations Director, the FOD will be responsible in ensuring a system for standard human resource management, financial management, procurement, information technology and ensuring standard facilities to the technical team. S/he will be responsible in the arrangement of national and regional project offices, appointment of staff, managing the work plan development and any other operations required for ETBE’s implementation. The FOD will lead the operations division of the Activity (Human resource, finance, logistics including fleet, procurement, and Information technology) and will report to the CoP
Job Requirements
· The minimum educational requirement will be Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/ Accounting or management and Masters’ of Business Administration, accounting or other related social science disciplines;
· The FOD must have more than 10 years of experience and skills in a similar position and in project management;
· S/he must have experience of working in an international context, in-depth knowledge of project management cycles and experience in managing a diverse team of technical and support staff;
· Possess advanced knowledge with relevant software (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PP) applications and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written communication skills in English);
· Possess the knowledge and experience of working with donors will be an asset;
· A minimum of 5 years of working experience in Africa, preferably in Ethiopia. S/he must have the core competencies on leadership, resource management (Human resource, finance, time and other resources), analytical skills, planning and organizing skills, diplomatic and problem-solving skills;
