UNOPS Ethiopia Office is looking for qualified applicants for the Program Support Associate. Under the supervision and overall guidance of the Partnerships Team Leader, the Program Support Associate is responsible for facilitating the identification of new clients, as well as to expand and grow the UNOPS presence in Ethiopia. The incumbent shall work closely with Ethiopia Office Communication officer and liaison, Protocol associate to expand the business and client base. The Program Support Associate shall be responsible for detailed functional responsibilities, which can be found on our web site.

Job Requirement

  • Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) preferably in business/commerce, marketing, economics, management, international affairs, political science, development studies or related area. A first-level university degree with relevant combination of academic qualifications and additional two years experience related to the nature of the position may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in donor relations and business development functions.
  • Certificate and knowledge of Prince2 is an asset.
  • Knowledge of UN/UNOPS rules and regulations is an asset.
  • Fluency in both written and oral English required. Knowledge of a second UN working language is desirable
  • Excellent computer skills
