Job Description

Responsible for owning and manage the manpower resources of the factory
including planning on an annual basis for optimal headcount management.
 Develops, implements and maintains human resources policies and procedures
across the factory, including training programs to educate and promote awareness of
regulatory compliance
 Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all
positions
 Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and
training programs.
 Assesses staff training needs, develops, implements and monitors effectiveness of
staff training programs
 Supervises and manages the implementation of performance management system,
staff development and orientation processes – delivers performance management
programs that drive a high-performance culture
 Directs and manages the recruitment and selection process, and train line managers
in interviewing and assessment procedures
 Produces reports on key metrics, including remuneration and benefits, absenteeism
and turnover.
 Ensures reported issues are addressed
 Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human
resource policies and procedures.
 Advises senior management potential HR risks regarding staff management issues
and manages staff issues in line with the HR policy and with the local labour laws
 Takes the lead in ensuring employee safety, welfare, wellness and health in
compliance with the statutory law
 Handles employees’ compensation and benefit process and periodically develops
competitive salary structure and benefit plans on a need basis

 Handles grievances and labour litigation
 Maintain employee records as per legal requirements and company procedures.
 Arranging meetings with third party service providers and addressing the issues.
 Ensure health and safety, cleanliness procedures are maintained at all times and any
behaviours of subordinates that could affect the H&S risks are necessary.
 Be a lead in developing a winning culture through employee engagement
interventions and practices.
 Lead organizational change initiatives for the business
 Build the desired culture, manages and monitors employee engagement
interventions and practices
 Manage different projects and manage internal and external stakeholders. Manages

 Communicates with employees about employee relations policies and procedures,
including updates and implication
 Prepare monthly reports in relation to industrial relations
 Manages relationship between management and employees and recommends
initiatives to improve relationships between management and employees.
 Builds managers’ capability in managing performance and reward decisions
 Manage budgets and absence cost control and reduction and headcount
optimization.
 Oversees (and conducts where appropriate in conjunction with the line manager)
investigations on employee relation issues, complaints, and grievances, to ensure
proper case management and record keeping.

Job Requirements

BA Degree in Human Resource and  Organizational Development, Management or
equivalent 
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience out of which 3 years at an managerial level and
good knowledge of HR best practices & standards
• Demonstrated success in working and delivering through teams across a multi-
cultural environment
• In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
.Extensive knowledge of the manufacturing sector.
