VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT No. 01 - 2020
The Ethiopia Commodity Exchange Employee Saving and Credit Cooperative (ECX_SACCO) was established in 2011 G.C with the objective of providing a mechanism for ECX employees to save and borrow at affordable rate in order to meet the their’ socioeconomic needs. ECX_SACCO would like to recruit motivated and qualified applicants for the following position.
1. Position Title: Senior Accountant
Reports to: ECX_SACCO General Manager/ Management Board
Duty Station: AddisAbaba, ECX Head Office
Availability: As soon as possible
Salary: Negotiable
Job Purpose
The purpose of the job is to ensure that all payments made are as per the Bylaw, Credit and Saving Procedure and Financial Manual. Timely recording of financial transactions and verify the accuracy of financial as well as accounting documents; to prepare monthly bank reconciliation statement, to assist external auditors for the financial audit work; to ensure timely settlement account closure at the end of the financial year, to prepare interim and annual financial statements within agreed format; to timely and properly file all financial documents and reports and manage staff assigned under your direct supervision.
