Development Expertise Center (DEC) is a Local Civil Society Organization established to contribute towards improving the life of the disadvantaged and marginalized society. DEC aspires to see all under privileged children properly fostered. The organization has three major programme areas; Child Development, Gender and Life Skill Development and Skills and Entrepreneurship Development.

It facilitates community centered development interventions to create safe & conducive environment to transform the economic & social needs of children, youth & women. It operates in 5 regional states.
Job Summary

• Consult on Existing research and key elements for successful Life Skills Education in schools
• Develop plan for the new Life Skill Education
• Recommend strategic Document for Ministry of Health and Education

Job Requirement

Qualification

• PHD/MSC/BSC Nursing / Health officer / Social work /sociology /Social psychology sciences

Job Experience

• 5 years and above
• Consultation and plan development experience is Mandatory

• Strategic Management skill
• Strong presentation and analytical skill
• Brilliant skill of research development, analysis and reporting and disseminating
• Communicate effectively with different partners
• Listens effectively to engage others
• Writes clearly, succinctly and convincingly
• Computer skill including full command of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power point etc.) and common internet applications

Eligibility Criteria

• A registered firm having renewed license and tax payer status
• Consultants should have experience in business development and feasibility studies
• Consultant teams who have educational resources development are preferred.
• Exposure to similar assignments and proven evidence should be attached.
• Good Knowledge and practical experience in working with Need assessment, Market survey, Feasibility study in qualitative as well as quantitative methodology
• Good communications and facilitation skills

Career Level: Senior Level (5 years’ experience)

The proposal must include as annexes the CVs of all members of the consulting team and the consultant experience for related assignments. The technical proposal should include a detailed plan of action for field work indicating staff-days required for orientation and actual data collection, detailed data analysis and report development. The financial proposal should provide a detailed break-down of costs by deliverable and estimated person days to accomplish each one.
