Job Description

WebSprix is looking for a very energetic, dynamic and independent Network Engineers to handle internet operations to the respective city/region

Core responsibilities of Regional Network Engineers are:

• Responsible for fiber network analysis, fiber to the X design (FTTx), fixed wireless network design, preparation of topology layout and fiber splice plans, cable duct and routing, and power budget calculations.
• Responsible for the configuration and installation of all the network devices which are essential for the implementation of the designed networks.
• The responsibility also includes the design of backup power sources for the active network devices in the operational sites.
• responsible for creating and updating documentation and drawings.
• Shall play an active role in planning, managing and assisting the physical implementation of the network design in the field.
• Shall work in close coordination with the fiber contractors to finish any deployment project within the stipulated time frame.
• Shall manage the communication between the cross-functional teams, equipment suppliers and contractors on any implementation matters.
• Shall work closely with building administrators, residence councils, local authorities, and Ethio telecom personnel in order to complete the deployment project.
• Shall maintain close coordination with the central technic team for guidance and reporting.
• Shall handle, facilitate and coordinate the internet service provisioning for end customers.
• Shall provide technical support for end customers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from an accredited university with a CGPA greater than 3.2
• Previous similar work experience in the field is preferable
• Having one or more Cisco Networking certifications is a plus.
