MEPO Contracting & Management Services PLC is a sister company of MIDROC Ethiopia Group and established in December 2008 by the renowned investor Sheik Mohammed H. Ali Al-Amoudi. The company has been engaged in the construction activities that develops, construct and manages properties since the establishment.

We invite qualified applicant for the  vacant position of Store Keeper II.

Summary of Duty & Responsibility:

Supervises warehousing activities receives & issues store items based on authorized notes. Maintains proper recorder of the ins & outs of materials. The incumbent exercises close supervision on clerical & manual workers.

The nature of work is routine and the incumbent performs his/her task without requiring frequent guidance from superior. The works may be deployed with a specific activity or work location and be designated accordingly, such a storekeeper for one or more line of products in the terminal.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Undertakes all stocking, preparing purchase request, follow up the day to day store handling. And full responsibility for the proper handling, issuing & receiving of materials.
  • Ensure that materials purchase are made  based on materials request specification.
  • Ensures that every issue, transfer and receipt is documented recorded and filed.
  • Ensure that materials purchased of fixed asset  are made after getting the approval of CEO or Procurement and logistics  Department Manager approval.
  • Supervisors manual laboures and clerical works of the warehouse Maintains up to date records of bin cards.
  • Ensures that all items are shelved properly and on the right location.
  • Keeps records of materials movement, informs his/her superior on daily stock status of basic items, and ensures that the store records are reconcilable with the physical stock balances.
  • Participate in the preparation of the store budget as necessary.
  • Inspects regularly the conditions of stock in warehouses, sees that the stock is well protected from dust, adverse weather conditions, harmful insects and ensures that all safety instructions and security directives are strictly observed.
  • Ensure that the right items and quality is ordered for stock replenishment orders.
  • Checks along with the stock controller all incoming materials as per the directives and procedures of the company.
  • Stores all items identified as disposable, safely and in a separate warehouse or site .prepares list if applicable with price and files.
  • Checks the request voucher for the right entry of information and authorization and issues as per request.
  • Prepare Monthly report in value and quantity on.

    • Materials  Transferred  In and out
    • Materials Issued
    • Materials  Returned As  per  designed Format and submit  to Store Supervisor 
  • Perform any other related duties as may be assigned to her/him by his/her supervisor.

Required Qualification and Experiences:

  • Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management/ 12th complete & qualified for the job;  
  • Six years and above for Diploma graduates and Eight years for 12th complete relevant experience especially in Construction area;
  • Computer knowledge especially MS-Word and MS-Excel
