SUMMARY OF POSITION

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Junior Fleet Management System Officer is responsible for administering Ethiochickens Fleet management system, generating periodic vehicle, Transporters and cost performance reports and organizing and maintaining Transporters records.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a database on assigned Vs actual stops by Transporters for every Delivery from Fleet Management system and generate daily reports.
• Maintain a data base on Transporters performance in terms of idle time and operational time, temperature alerts, target Vs actual number of  trips traveled, distance traveled  and assigned Vs actual stops made on deliveries ;
• Generate weekly reports on Cost performance by Driver and by Day old chickens for every delivery site.
• Pin point EthioChicken’s Agent locations and other points of interests on the Fleet Management system Map.
• Initiate fuel expense replenishment requests for each Transporter for every delivery made based on distance traveled by each Transporter data generated from the Fleet management system, Company Delivery policy and terms and conditions set in the Transporters agreements.
• Initiate monthly rental payment requests for Transporters based on Terms and conditions set in the transporters agreements after all delivery confirmation documents are submitted by the transporter for all deliveries made in a specific month;

• Performs other duties as required by the Logistics Manager.

 QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Understands and carries out oral and written instructions; maintain cooperative working relationships;
• knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel and internet;
• Must be able to meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude;

• Ability to work independently and carry out assignments by ensuring completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Education

• BSc Degree in Information Technology (IT), Business Information Systems (BIS) or  any  other related fields;

Experience

• Fresh graduate
