Job Description

TAF Oil P.L.C is seeking an experienced and professional General Service to join our team. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general direction of property section head, the person handling this position is responsible for administrational and operational activities that pertain to: managing drivers, cleaners, guards and the maintaining of buildings, storage, vehicles, and land and related in an orderly manner. Including, but not limited to, maintain the cleanliness of all building, security of all sites, fixtures and landscaping.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Specific duties related vehicle

  • Controlling and administering annual inspection of each vehicle
  • Sending 3rd party insurance certificate for each drivers
  • Controlling and insuring the service time of each vehicle
  • Flowing and insuring the maintenance of each vehicle
  • Organizing life history file for each vehicle both in hard and soft copy,
  • Updating life history file of each vehicle both hard copy and soft

Specific duties related Janitors and Guards

  • Administrating Janitors (Leave management, cleanness of the office, cleanness of toilet, cleanness of the gate,
  • Administrating Guards

Manage the work of day to day activities for:

  • Drivers
  • Mechanics
  • Janitors and messengers

Support staff members in the following areas:

  • Custodial/protection
  • Maintenance
  • Security
  • Transportation

Other General Service Activity

  • Preparing General service related payment request
  • Ensures timely fulfillment of utilities such as electricity, water, telephone and others for projects, ware house and offices.
  • Coordinates and control company vehicles.
  • Controls the maintenance and services of company vehicles.
  • Controls the house keeping activity of the company.
  • Ensure that company properties are clean and well-maintained.
  • Preparing General service related payment request
  • License renewal
  • Rent payment
  • Electricity

Job Requirements

Required qualification

  • BA Degree in Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management and other related fields

Relevant experience

  • 4 years and above for BA and 6 years and above for Diploma 

Required skills and knowledge

  • Strong leadership and decision making skills
  • Strong skills and confidence to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong ability to manage own workload and supervise the work of others concurrently
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Familiarity with email and proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
