Office has been in operation since 2016.  We are poised to grow both our commercial and specialty business operations.

SUNCAFINA Ethiopia is looking for a motivated, dedicated individual to help us manage, adapt and improve our financial operations in Ethiopia.  This individual will be responsible for producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research.  Guiding managers in making sound business decisions in the long and short term.

Will oversee, manage and direct logistics related to specialty coffee branch of SUCAFINA Ethiopia Representative Office.

Job Description:

SUNCAFINA Ethiopia is looking for a motivated, dedicated individual to help us manage the logistics of specialty and project coffees.  This individual will be the primary liaison between our Ethiopian Representative Office, our partnered specialty suppliers and our Ethiopian service providers.  This position will be dedicated to ensuring the timely processing and delivery of coffee as contracted by our clients and exploring and developing a logistics network that allows flexibility and dependability from source to final destination.

Responsibilities:

• Will represent SUCAFINA in all work related activities and must uphold company values.
• Will help to develop strategic short term plans for improving our logistics in Ethiopia.
• Develop and routinely update a shipping schedule of major national and international shipping lines/agencies to identify the most efficient routes for delivering coffee to destinations/clients throughout the world.
• Familiarize and maintain an updated list of pertinent national and international shipping regulations and guidelines.
• Must develop and maintain an organized system for tracking the shipment of samples collected from partner farmers, suppliers and exporters to client throughout the world.
• Will function as a liaison between SUCAFINA Ethiopia Representative Office and our partner sales and head offices providing bi-weekly shipment updates, and other reports as requested by management.
• Will function as the primary liaison between SUCAFINA and our partner coffee and service suppliers, assisting with documentation and logistics for getting coffee from the field to Addis Ababa, and from Addis to Djibouti.
• Must oversee the timely completion and procurement of export documentation and shipment of coffee.
• Must help out with office and laboratory tasks as required or requested by fellow employees.

• Reports to Logistics Manager

Location:

Primarily based in Addis Ababa at the SUCAFINA Ethiopian Representative Office in the Lancha area with infrequent trips to the field in coffee producing regions through Ethiopia.
