Currently, we are seeking Research and Evaluation Division Director with high level of research and development experience.

General Duties and Responsibilities

·   Lead and coordinate different units and team members under the division;

· Elaborate and refines research objectives, thematic issues, and construct research proposals accordingly;

·  Apply and demonstrate an advanced level of understanding and knowledge of appropriate statistical applications and research design techniques ;

·  Develop and provide superb communication skills in client management and project implementation;

·  Work closely with other division staffs to assess and identify technical assistance needs for  new and ongoing proposals/ research projects;  

·   Follow up the effective implementation of research and evaluation projects with the highest quality and agreed timeline;

·   Engage and represent Frontieri in a high level dialogue/meetings at national and international level to map and develop research  opportunities/partnership;

·   Adopt core values, and ensures policies and procedures are clearly understood and adhered to in the daily functioning;

·   Writes research proposals, as necessary, to initiate a special project;

·   Produce high quality working papers and articles;

·   Ensures confidentiality ,practice and demonstrate exemplary work ethics, self-motivation in learning and taking on new challenges against tight deadlines;

·    Lead the documentation and dissemination of lessons learned;

·    Handle all other activities as may  be required by Managing partners. with high level of consultancy experience enthusiasm, and resilience.

Qualification and Other Skills

·    PhD in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Public Policy, Developmental studies, or related fields; with a minimum of 10 years of direct experience in research;

·    Five or more years of Post-PhD research and outreach experience, with internationally recognized publications.

·   Excellent publication in peer-reviewed journals;

·   Demonstrated ability to work with diverse personalities , backgrounds and experiences ;

·   Excellent  analytical skill ;

·   Exceptional leadership and management skills;

·   Exceptional communication and presentation skills;

·   Ability to think strategically, remaining focused on goals and objectives

·    High level of organization and attention to detail;

·    Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and be persistent, and solve problems as they arise;

·   Demonstrated success in creating collaborative relationships with various government and non-governmental organizations.
