Silafrica Ethiopia Branch is inviting qualified applicants for the position of ERP Officer

Department: Information Technology (IT)

Job Summarization:

Interact with stakeholders, customers and technical resources to design, implement and maintain security structures for delivered and customized PeopleSoft applications. Assist Finance and Operational departments to train and instruct users with respect to their specific day-to-day problems, execute corrective action when necessary.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Configure the application based on the requirements elicited.
Liaise with vendor’s development team to design, develop and test the requirements as per the specifications
Involve in several phases of the project life cycle
Interact with stakeholders, customers and technical resources to design, implement and maintain security structures for delivered and customized PeopleSoft applications.
Assist Finance and Operational departments to train and instruct users with respect to their specific day-to-day problems, execute corrective action when necessary.
Support managers in business process improvements, implementing best practices and fully utilizing ERP system capabilities.
Conduct routine periodic activities in ERP system as directed.
Monitor and identify problems in any of ERP system every day.

Job Requirements

Education:

BA or above in Computer science or related fields

Experience and Skills:

A minimum of 2 years related experience, work on software packaging and experience with Oracle systems is advantageous.
Excellent English language proficiency, systems approach, ERP exposure and computer friendly are mandatory. Problem solving skill, teaching ability, team building, resourcefulness, developing others
