Job Requirement

Qualifications: MSc degree in Psychology or Sociology or Anthropology, and must have at least 5 years of experience in students handling/management, academic administrations and teaching courses in a college or university.

Language: Strong written and oral communication skills (multi-lingual is preferred)

Computer: Good knowledge of computer usage.

Specific Experiences:

  • Passionate about working with and for students, desires to understand the needs of the student body, and gives equal consideration to all student perspectives;
  • Experiences in and exposure to higher education institution that include students counselling and guidance, conflict resolution, teaching, curriculum management, and research;
  • Experiences in leadership/managerial position, planning and implementation, and evidences for the same;
  • Ability to work in collaboration, cooperation and harmony with students and staff, and to promote diversity and inclusiveness;
  • Capability to work within a culture of shared governance and academic environment; and
  • Ability to analyse problems and to seek systematic, logical and timely solutions.

Salary: 13,420 Eth. Birr per month.
