Saint Gobain is currently building a greenfield project to manufacturing mortar products in Ethiopia.
Currently, Saint-Gobain Weber Ethiopia is in the process of hiring senior accountant.
This senior accountant role covers a broad spectrum of responsibility including:
- Leading credit management process form order to collection
- Handling account payable for both import and local purchases including dealing with bank
- Managing all tax returns including VAT, Withhold, Payroll Tax
- Supporting on monthly closing including general ledger accounting
- Supporting on budget and costing
You will be based in plant located Tulefa, Debrebirhan.
To start with you will have full ownership of AP, AR and tax returns. Subsequently, this role shall alsobe geared towards the introduction of strong costing, budget control and reporting schemes, through the development of robust and management reporting (MIS) capabilities.
The successful candidate should be a professionally finance with good stand-alone working habit
and good communication skill. You should have up to 5 years of experience, within a financial
Function role, coupled with a good track record
Job Requirements
- First degree in Accounting/Finance and plus point if completed fundamental level of ACCA
- Experience in dealing with operation team
- Knowledge of manufacturing process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
