Currently, our business unit Dereja is undertaking projects in tackling the issue of youth unemployment. Dereja is a pioneer in establishing Career Center services in Higher Education Institutions, organizing regional and national job fairs and design and deliver employability skills training for fresh graduates.
We are looking for a self-driven Intern to join our team. As an Intern, He/she will be responsible for helping a team to develop Technical requirement documents, identify Use cases, develop ER and data flow and concept diagrams, build a storyboard for an upcoming project.
Here at Dereja we encourage new ideas and foster creativity, selected candidates will be working with a team of varied expertise, cultural background and age’s circles. The intern is set to have the following duties and responsibilities.
- Participate and assist in research for technical documentation.
- Participate and assist in technical requirement document development.
- Participate and assist on the storyboard and basic mock-up development.
- Participate and assist in database model development.
Job Requirements
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in technical document writing for university/college software project documentation.
- Ability to analyze real-world problems and business rules to develop technical requirements and define Scope.
- Basic familiarity with SDLC and software development
- Basic familiarity with advanced database relationships and model design concepts.
- Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and analyze software systems.
- Good knowledge of frontend and backend technologies will be a plus (such as PHP, C#, phyton, Html, CSS, Javascript)
- Time management skills
- Interpersonal and communications skills
- Good written and verbal English
Educational Background and Experience
- Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or other related fields
