Sons Industries is a Private Limited Company Established under Ethiopian Law and currently operates in manufacturing sector and produce Paints with Global brand and purified and bottled mineral water with Best natural water brand.
Our company would like to invite qualified, motivated and with the best caliber of accounting professional candidates for its Global paint factory.
Oversees end to end all daily activities of the accounting and supervises end-of-period processes and supports the analysis of the periodical business performance; he is charged with motivating, developing, and creating a departmental culture and taking full responsibility for the success or failure of the quarterly/annual audit process.
Scope of responsibilities
- Ensure that proper books of accounts are maintained for recording the financial transactions of the company
- Ensure that checks, receipts and other financial documents are kept properly and safeguarded against misuse,
- Ascertained that receivables are collected & legal financial obligations are met on time,
- Install & maintain proper accounting expenses classifications, accumulations of reporting system which is necessary to details for major source of revenue,
- Coordinate & manage general ledger reconciliation process every month as per FD checklist
- Ensure the timely settlement of payables & undertakings; taxes & fees payable are paid timely
- Ensures that payments are effected as per approved policies & procedures and legal requirements;.
- Undertakes analysis periodically of the financial performances of the company, recommends measures for improvements,
- Approve and ascertained vouchers requests of cheques & petty cash; approve daily transactions by checking journals, necessary entry for adjustments & corrections

- BA Degree in from Recognized University; a minimum of 7 years relevant experience preferably in manufacturing sector and basic computer application
