Awash Wine SC. Established in 1936 Awash is proud to be Ethiopia’s oldest winemaker. With over 80 years serving the local and international market, we are one of the country’s most beloved brands. The company was acquired in September 2013 through a local and international partnership. Our international staff, with a combined 82 years of experience in the beverage industry, collaborates with 644 local employees at our two production facilities in Addis Ababa and our vineyard in Merti Jeju, Upper Awash. This local-foreign partnership means we combine international know-how with a deep knowledge of Ethiopia’s dynamic and exciting market.
Therefore, the company invites competent and qualified External candidates for the following position.
Main Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day sales and service activities of Addis Ababa Salesmen and Porters
- Ensure that Salesmen perform per specified sales objectives and criteria
- Take responsibility for sales performance (against set volume targets) and execution of sales and marketing standards in allocated area
- Timely compile and submit prescribed reporting inputs and outputs to management and staff
- Achieve sales target & distribution objectives for his territory
- Accountable for availability, visibility, and accessibility of Awash range in priority outlets
- Execute the Picture of Success in the key outlets of his/her territory according the Awash standards per channel (merchandising, visibility, price, must have SKU…)
- Develop route plans
- Submissions of outlet data master amendments;
- Timely compile and submit prescribed reporting inputs and outputs to management and staff;
Job Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience Required
- B.A. in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Management, Accounting or related Business fields
- Graduate of 2018 and onward with CGPA 3.00 and above.
- Work Experience Not Required
- On Basic Computer Application Skills Good Communication skills
- Ability to Multi-tasking
