Job Description
The Ohio State Global One Health initiative (GOHi) is a capacity building unit that focuses on issues at the interface of human health, animal health and the environment, including infectious and chemical hazards, both acute, such as infectious, and chronic, such as cancer. GOHi works with different national and international academic, research, and regulatory institutes to develop an effective, systems-based and sustainable One Health approach for early detection, prevention, and control of emerging and endemic zoonotic and multi-drug resistance (MDR) infections.
The Ohio State Global One Health, LLC is a recognized non-governmental entity affiliated with the Ohio State University.
Ohio State Global One Health initiative through funding support from CDC foundation needs to hire consultants for its Ethiopia office on the following positions in a contractual basis for 6 months only.
The potential candidates will be assigned in Addis Ababa with Ethiopian Public Health Institute and/or in different regions to support active surveillance for suspect cases of COVID-19.
