The Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI) was founded in 1970 through the initiative of the Norwegian and Swedish Save the Children organizations seconded by the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia. The Institute got its name from the Norwegian physician, Gerhard Henrik Armauer Hansen, who first described the leprosy bacillus (Mycobacterium leprae). AHRI is a biomedical research institute that works in developing tools for prevention, control and treatment of mycobacterium and other diseases of public healthy importance through applied and basic biomedical research and training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         When receiving ratified annual budget, preparing budget controlling ledger card or register it on computer and pass it to responsible officer

·         Preparing and providing monthly cash flow to responsible office with important documents attached

·         Preparing and providing salary and other expense request form based on the capital and recurrent expenditure budget

·         When demanded expense payment  request form making sure the budget is available, registering on ledger/computer and transfer it to responsible officer

·         Reconciling financial report of the budget department regularly/monthly/

·         Following up of the ratified budget used for the intended activities and importance 

-       BA Degree in Accounting or Financial Management or Business Management AND 4 years of experience in budget or accounting
