The Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI) was founded in 1970 through the initiative of the Norwegian and Swedish Save the Children organizations seconded by the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia. The Institute got its name from the Norwegian physician, Gerhard Henrik Armauer Hansen, who first described the leprosy bacillus (Mycobacterium leprae). AHRI is a biomedical research institute that works in developing tools for prevention, control and treatment of mycobacterium and other diseases of public healthy importance through applied and basic biomedical research and training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Preparing payment voucher based on the institute’s government, project and aid budget

·         Cosigning payment cheque after thorough analysis and evaluation

·         By Evaluating and assessing preparing payment voucher of the payment of high level service, purchase and construction

·         Preparing allowance and top-up for senior officials of the institute based on the institutes allowance and top-up guideline,

·         And reconcile payments for good or service after thorough evaluation. 

·         Asses, register prepare payment for consultants which are  paid in foreign currency 

-       BA Degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance AND 6 years direct experience
