Job Description

Job Requirement

  • A master’s  degree in  business administration or management or economics,
  • At least four years of leadership role as an executive director in a charitable organization,
  • Demonstrable capacity and output in fund raising and business development,
  • Experience in developing, planning and implementing successful strategies and projects,
  • Thorough knowledge of financial and project management and evaluation approaches,
  • Has analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation,
  • Is pro-active, result oriented and able to translate vision into practice
  • Has passion to serve the poor, exemplary standing in integrity
  • Is within 40 to 50 years of age and has high energy,
  • Has excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills,
  • Has fluency in spoken and written English and proficiency in writing proposals, reports and donor contacts
  • Demonstrable experience in team building, use of management competencies, people management and staff training.

Duty Station: Addis Ababa with frequent field visits of projects
