Position: Innovation-New Product Development Coordinator
Division/Department: Commercial Department/ Marketing Work Unit
Reports to: Marketing Director
Term of Employment: Full time
Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with a frequent travel to up countries

Job Summary
An Innovation- New Product Development Coordinator drives and coordinate the development process from idea to implementation to ensure products meet customers' need.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate product development activities to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with management to make critical decisions related to product developments
- Review product designs and recommend changes to management.
- Develop best practices to optimize product development procedures.
- Identify areas of improvements and concerns and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain product specifications for reference purposes.
- Provide assistance to product design and development teams.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy of information flow between teams who involves in the design Development and Merchandising.
- Provide guidance in product upgrades to meet changing business demands
- Oversee product development activities within allotted budget and timelines.
- Provide project status updates to management on periodic basis.
- Schedule regular meetings to discuss about new product ideas and issues.
- Schedule job training and maintain training materials for development team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field of studies
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience within a research and development department
Competencies
- Creativity, a strong understanding of customers' needs, strong interpersonal skills, excellent analytical abilities.
