Job Description
The United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking to hire a Finance and Admin Officer (Gambella), who will be responsible for the financial management and reporting. He/she will ensure that proper procurement procedures are adhered to and funds are managed, including the inventory of supplies and equipment while ensuring that project activities adhere to UNDP’s rule/regulation as set in programme and operation policies and procedures (POPPs) and also as per the donor’s financial procedures laid out on the donor contribution agreement.
Job Requirements
- A University Degree in accounting, finance or business administration or other related field would be an added advantage.
- Interested applicant must have at least 4 years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience, experience in project or programme management, knowledge of IPSAS and/or IFRS is required and prior experience with donor funded project would be an added advantage.
