· Implemented Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) quality and Research and Development business area. · Drive and be the point person for the implementation of standard systems like ISO9001:2015. · Owned quality for the supply chain and manufacture and ensure that processes, practices and records are effective to ensure the end quality of products is to specification. · Gather non-conformance data and document appropriately and where needed communicate to all stakeholders. · Implement and support strategies, processes and programs to meet Key Business Indicators. · Effectively communicate quality goals, daily and long-term objectives to the quality organization through daily meetings · Adopt and share best practice ideas inside and outside the company. · Ensure manufacturing processes are compliant with internal quality and R&D specifications. · Motivate, direct, coach and develop a diverse, high performing team to meet established goals and build organizational capability. · Routinely train QA and plant personnel on new or improved formulations, policies and procedures. · Demonstrate behaviors needed for effective implementation of change. · Continuously assess the team capability and develop training plans and execute. · Foster an environment that supports an engaged safety and quality culture. · Maintained a SAFE ZONE to employees by ensuring all hazards are identified, reported and removed. · Reported all unsafe conditions, near misses and unsafe behaviors on Enablon as per Wilmar standard. · Reported all accidents and incidents within the time frame provided by Wilmar manually and then on Enablon. · Engaged with employees continuously through safety talk to create awareness · Assured a high level of housekeeping standard within the production unit. · Managed Cost of Quality to deliver maximum business impact. · Developed alternative formulations and working methods to improve the operation performance. · Develop and implement cost management optimization process and practice in the business on packaging, raw materials and process side. · Develop suppliers and their capabilities in line with the business requirement and as per Wilmar standard/ guideline. · Ensure consistent audits are conducted to understand the gaps in supplier performance. · Implement corrective action plans that create long-term solutions to systemic problems. · Ensure compliance to company and regulatory policies and standards for all supplied items. · Work with suppliers to ensure material performance meets company standards. · Conduct follow-up audits, on site and on desk audits as required, and communications to improve compliance by suppliers. · Engaged with relevant regulatory body to understand requirement and ensure business meets the standard. · Gather non-conformance data and document appropriately and communicate with all stakeholders. · Ensure company product registration and marking are done in compliance with the regulation or compulsory standard. |
Job Requirements
* BSC in chemistry/ chemical engineering or other related field of study
* Minimum 8 years’ experience in an FMCG industry, in a supervisory or managerial position.
* Quality management expertise ideally from a production engineering background earlier in career
