Job Requirement

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer engineering or a related field plus 8/10 years of relevant experience and at least three years on supervisory position.

Competency (Knowledge, skills, and other abilities)

Specialist certifications in programs such as Business Analysis, Project Management (PM), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and/or COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies) or equivalent

Extensive experience in project management methodologies including development, implementation, monitoring and completing complex projects on time and within budget.

Experience leading a departments and strategic IT projects

Hands-on technical experience building and supporting many of the following services and technologies:

Data Center
Disaster recovery
Extensive experience leading infrastructure delivery teams inclusive of scope, scheduling, budgeting, and project planning in an environment with aggressive delivery goals
Expertise with vendor management, negotiation and oversight of vendor resources
Experience transforming teams through technology, organization, culture, process, and business change management
Firewall, SDN, advance routing, switches, VLANs
Network Services – BGP / AWS Direct experience
Wireless RF, MIMO, metrics and tuning
Fibre, GPON, PTP and outdoor asset management
SAN, FC, All OSI layers, encrypted data transport protocols
Full understand of AIX, Linux, Windows, Hypervisors and mobile
SAS, SATA, NVME/SSD, clustered storage and software defined storage
Understanding of or certification as a CISSP
Understanding of or certification as an OSCP
Familiarity with HVAC systems or other physical infrastructure
Language: – The applicant must have proven proficiency in Afan Oromo, Amharic and English Languages.
