Job Description

The Lutheran World Federation Word Service Ethiopia (LWF/WS Ethiopia) is a registered foreign charity which has been operating in Ethiopia since 1973 implementing various development and humanitarian projects in different parts of Ethiopia.  LWF Ethiopia works closely with the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus (EECMY), the Ethiopian Government, UN organizations and other funding partners.  Its thematic areas include promotion of food security and sustainable livelihood, sustainable natural resources managment, emergency preparedness, response and rehabilitation, and capacity building.  LWF is in need of hiring qualified professionals to Team Leader (1)  post.

Project Name:  COVID-19 Pandemic Emergency Response to Host Community  in Jijiga area, Somalia Region

Project Duration: Three months, 18/06/2020 – 17/09/2020

Job Requirements

Qualification

Masters or Bachelor Degree in WASH and Wash related field.

Required Experience

Minimum of one year relevant work experience for Masters Degree and three years for Bachelor Degree

Additional requirements

  • Proficiency in both written and  spoken English
  • Experience in Water supply, sanitation and hygiene scheme construction in humanitarian responses (drought, refugee, conflict, flooding, etc is preferred
  • Good skill in reporting and  monitoring,
  • Computer literate
  • Other job related trainings
  • Somali Language is Mandatory
