Position Overview

The Head of Electronic Voucher Distribution Sales (HEVDs) is responsible for agents’ acquisition and retention. The HEVDs is also responsible for managing the acquisition and retention teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Formulate agent recruitment strategy
• Manage agent profitability
• Grow EVD line
• Recruitment of agent teams
• Inspire and drive agent’s strategy through sales teams
• Manage agent support and training
• Market analysis on products trends as well as agents’ trends
• Contribute to new product development as well as enhancement of existing products

Accountability and Performance Measures

• Accountable for achievement of sales targets for the following business lines:
  • Airtime and Bill Payments
• Accountable for performance of the acquisition team
• Accountable for performance of the retention team

As well as above, any other duties given by management

Organizational Alignment

• Reports directly to the managing director
• Will manage directly the sales team

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-year degree in any field
• Four years post qualification experience in a management position
• Four years post qualification sales experience in an FMCG environment
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in digital financial services
• Experience in leading a team of 5 or more people
