- Manage and lead the entire finance team in the areas of A/R, A/P, GL, Fixed Assets, Tax, Consolidation and Reporting
- Responsible for preparing the monthly financial and management reports, manage all audit matters as well as looking at implementing process improvement projects and ensuring internal controls are in place
- Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating transactions
- Prepare and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Maintain and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
- Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries
- Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, MSc in Finance or MBA an asset
- 7+ years of professional experience in the FMCG sector
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS, IT savvy
- Highly preferred: ACCA
- Strong understanding of Tax Accounting and Financial Reporting Requirements of Ethiopia
