The Gender Officer is responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of the gender thematic programs in line with the overall FGAE Strategic Plan, the FGAE  programme, and gender thematic strategies and Programming guidelines. S/he will provide technical and methodological support to FGAE’s HQ and Area Office programmes across the Association in relation to gender work. S/he shall actively contribute to define strategies advancing gender work at the Association level through research, partnership, alliance building and advocacy initiatives. S/he shall provide leadership in cross-learning and knowledge generation for thematic alignment in relation to FGAE’s gender strategic priorities across the Association. ensure that the gender and sex disaggregation and youth and adults composition in the governing body and policy decision Making Process is in place as per IPPF membership Standard
