Job Description
- An IT Specialist is responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities in an organization.
- Determine the IT needs of an organization and are responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements
- Focus on computer networks and managing telecommunications systems and other electronic support systems related to the company operation
- Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and service
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
- Help to define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
- Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
- Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
- Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of system
- Implement security measures
- Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirement
- Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problem
- Install and update company software and hardware as needed
- Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items
- Meet with prospective clients to determine requirements
- Engage with clients to define the scope of the project
- Plan timeline and resources needed for project
- Travel to client site
- Responsible for network management, software development and database administration
- Develop company IT policies and Procedures and Manage and control IT infrastructure of the company
- · Identify and resolve IT project issues
Job Requirements
· BSC- degree in Computer science, Information Technology, Information Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
· 5+ years of experience in a similar role
· Proficient in several programming languages
· Experienced writing code
· Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications, including Project
· Familiar with a range of software and hardware
· Previous technical support role
