International Clinical Laboratories (ICL) is one of the largest of independent clinical diagnostic centers on the African continent. ICL has opened its door for service in 2004 with the aim of “contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of the quality of life throughout Ethiopia” by encompassing a system of human and physical resources designed to meet the changing healthcare needs of the population it serves.

 It is the only laboratory accredited by the USA based Joint Commission International (JCI) for five times in a row. The laboratory provides more than 3000 tests in collaboration with its referral laboratories.

 ICL would like to recruit Statistician position under COVID-19 task force team by inviting all qualified and competent applicants

Role/Position Summary: responsible for data analysis COVID-19 focused activities by compilation and dissemination of statistically.

Major Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of data, validation, compilation and dissemination of statistical data on COVID-19 surveillance sample referral and traveller’s data from collection centres.
• Analysing available data, selecting and implementing methods for checking the fullness of demographic information in collected data, and daily reporting to concerned parties with the specific formats and databases.
• Sorting out panic reportable information and giving top priority. Analysing appointment desk data for prospective action
•  Plan approaches and compile the total COVID-19 testing data , facilitate the conduct and evaluate the work in its section

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Statistics with two years of valuable experience
• Proven skill on excel and different databases
• Background in health profession will be a plus
